Technology in cars is advancing rapidly. Vehicles are becoming increasingly connected, automated, and, dare we say… intelligent. One of the biggest features gaining attention in the industry is the “kill switch” which can remotely disable a vehicle. Recently, Ramzan Kadyrov, the leader of Russian forces in the Chechnya region – claims he was gifted this Tesla Cybertruck complete with machine gun by Elon Musk to use in the war against Ukraine.
Then he said, the Tesla CEO remotely disabled the Cybertruck on the battlefield– rendering it useless. Which begs the question, does this happen only to Chechen warlords– or could we be impacted as well? You’ve probably seen the headlines. More and more people are discovering they’re not the only one controlling their car.
